Default Sedona in Red Wood Burl

It's still crazy weather here as we have had rain, snow and hail with 50+ mph (82km?) the last couple of days ... ventured out to the garage and managed to cobble this together.

The wind kept blowing the pen around on the flagstone.

Thanks Mark ... I'd never seen a Sedona until I received one in a swap and frankly never liked Roller Balls because the one I did have from CSUSA felt unbalanced with the cap posted and wasn't a pleasure to use.

After trying the Sedona I liked it. Now I see the bushes are used with another kit. I don't know if the 'baron' is the same pen as the sedona with a different moniker or not.

The baron uses the same bushes but the kit is different more squared off with a black insert in the finial ,less fancy centreband as well . Cheers ~ John ,nothing wrong with the sedonas though hehe .

Thanks John ... I'll be trying the baron on for size ... while my wife likes the rounded top I prefer the squared off look myself.

Thanks Russ ... was a piece of wood I've had laying around for quite a while and it frankly didn't impress me very much ... until I started turning it ...

    Nice work, great pen
I particularly like the silver sedonas - the barons are a nice pen as well
and as mentioned they share the same bushes

I don't know what different finishes they come in but the Woodcraft store carries gold and chrome ...

I'm going to look at the barons ...
