Whether it's liked or not probably depends on which footy team you support. Sorry, I am a GWS Giants fan , so the colours are wrong. But as a pen, it has been turned well, and the finish is good. Generally, I find that acrylic blanks have enough pattern, swirls etc to not need any additions. Anyway, your husband might be like me. My wife married me 'cos she had found Mr Right. Just didn't know my first name was Always.

Nice work there Sally, I like the shape you used there and it looks like it’s finished well.
The segmenting you have used , is subtle enough to work with the busy blank. It also draws attention away from those Storm colours .Brad.

Trade him in, and use the nicely turned pen to sign the paperwork.
Actually, if you replaced the white rings with footy club colours, you might be on a winner.

Well done Sally. The transition between the acrylic and the metal components looks spot on.
Keep up the good work.Dallas

Hi Ironwood
Thanks very much I really like the pen myself
I think the combination works a treat
That’s funny as you are the second person to say about the footy either bring AFL or NRL
That wasn’t what I was trying to achieve at all .
If I was going to make a AFL pen it would have to be black and yellow [emoji6]

Uncle Al
Hope you are well [emoji6]
That’s so funny ..
Hmmmm you are the third person to say that about my pen. I wasn’t actually extending to make it a footy pen. Lol
But who knows, if someone wants me to make them one I will then [emoji4]
