    Seymour the name takes me back to the end of the year 54 and the first part of 55, 17th National Service Battallion in Puckapunyal. I was paid 120 pounds during this time and saved 105 pounds preparing to marry in July of that year, has to be one of the hottest parts of Victoria under canvass. Never forgotten the great time and how fit I was. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh made a Royal Visit so we had an extra couple of hours drill a day and with others lined the streets of Melbourne.

    Amos you will do well there with your determination and sense of humour this is my hope for you.

    Thanks , I stuck some pens in dirt and see if they would sprout out with similar CA finish and colour!, oh, well back to the lathe! Amos
