    Default No Shed

I will be out of action for at least three months. I had to have a shoulder re-construction a week ago. The injuries were caused when I had a fall early July. I am not impressed I can tell you, but just have to wear it. Will still be checking the forum regularly. Believe Prossy was great as usual.
    Cheers,
    Shirley

Sorry to hear that you will be layed up. Not a good time of the year with the heat and of coarse Christmas just around the corner. You probably have things to make for Christmas dinner and cleaning to do "for Christmas" etc etc.

For therapy, how would you like a big hand full of Forumites to come and visit you? You could show them your shed and tools and timber stash and they could get in there and create merry hell while you are seated out of the way but close enough for you to be shuddering at the mess being made and the waste of timber and sharp tool edges stc ect. Then as a finale.......they all go home. And leave you with a HUGE mess to clean up

Who said that me aren't considerate

Seriously I hope your convalescence is short and that you will be able to get around with no pain and plenty of mobility
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

What you mean no shed??? Did it blow up, blow away, stolen??

you mean Noooo shed for you surely a little shed time sitting pondering, considering how, what, where, designs etc.

Shirley don't mind Rod he's just after a warmer environment and an escape haven during country music time. He still has his own shed to clean

Hi Shirley, you'll be up and back in the shed before you know.

Totally off topic but I see you're in Gympie, you don't happen to know a Doug and Glenys Pratt by any chance?

Thanks all. Artme, whatever have you done? No, I don't know the Pratts. Are they involved with woodturning?

Wishing you a speedy recovery Shirley. I'm recovering from Neck Surgery two weeks ago. You must take care of yourself first and follow all Medical instructions which is what I am doing. It's driving me absolutely crazy not being able to do much at all other than laze around do Physio and pop Pain Killers. Hopefully you will recover and do better turning than ever before.......Keep well. I'm looking forward to returning to turning.............Kind Regards Branka

Wishing you a speedy recovery, at least you can dream of what to do. There is a lathe simulator for iPhone if you have one, can't rember what it's called though.

Take it easy and don't rush back into the shed - the penalty is usually more time out of it
I hope you have a speedy recovery and I'd love to come up and make a mess in your shed - oops try my hand on your yella peril!
