    Thanks for the comments everybod
Sorry I haven't responded before now - work and family duties have had first priority (yeah I know that is some sort of code violation.)

I am generally very happy with these but have decided to redo the purple heart because I'm not 100% happy with it

I think that given my production line that each pen probably took about 4 weeks

Love the look of No 3 is it an acrylic ???

Well done forumite nice Cherry on the top.

Good slection Nick I'd like a try at the Geek pen
Yeah, I know, dragging the chain there are numerous others in various stages of completion (hopefully will complete this weekend)
No 3 is an acrylic titled 'sand' from Woodcraft in the US It doesn't seem to be available at the moment so I can't post a link, sorry
Geek pens are good, but the cost of the kits makes one extremely careful. I'm still trying to recover from a stuff up on a similar kit

I think it is a function of not sanding past 600 and using a light box to raise the temperature and taking it slow and easy. but saying that I had a couple of problems with the ends chipping away. Am still working on this aspect.
I have a couple brewing at the moment and hopefully will be able to complete on the weekend
    regards
    Nick
