I don't know what happened to my post. What I said was that I liked the yellowish green one. It looks somehow "snakey".

Beautiful work. The red one particularly shows up the scales.

Looking good Ian, I also particularly like the red one.
Do you use the same colour paint on your tubes or vary it? I usually use a grey etching primer but sometimes white or brown on the tubes for variation. I had only used clear resin until seeing the excellent results you get, have taken a leaf from your book and now tint some. I also once used a small road kill brown snake skin I tanned, a bit time consuming but was fun to do and no where near as delicate a using shedded skins. Anyway keep up the good work of posting the inspirational pics cheers, Des

Re: Shedded Snake Skin Pens For The Expo
Hey Des
Thanks mate glad I have inspired u ;-) I have use coloured paint before red and purple not sure if it made a difference but I will take a pic of the two and another and see if u can pick them out P mate that sound time consuming lol yer the shedded skin is a form of keratin the same stuff ur finger nails are from ;-) I find the smaller scaled ones very easy to tear unlike the SWC ones. I will keep posting mate dont u worry about that ;-)
Thanks
Ian
