    Default Sierra stylus

just a couple of pens, 5 sold already!
one on the left is Burmese teak the other red gum finished with c.a
the timber was sanded with 180,240, 320,400,600. I've been stopping between grits and sanding with the grain seems to be improving the finish for the c.a
any other tips and tricks are appreciative!

I don't think you need too many tips. They look good from here.

I have done that as well on some pens. It does take a little longer to finish and put pressure on the arms.

Nice work on those pens. The only thing I do extra after the 600 grit is to sand with 0000 steel wool with the lathe running and then stop the lathe and rub it along the blank - certainly removes fine scratches. But you have to wipe metho over it (with the lathe running) to remove any black threads from the steel wool and to pop the pores for the CA.
