    Default Sierra's are popular !

Some more Sierra pens I have done lately. Mango (2 pics), Red Ash, Possible Qld Maple ? All finished with CA, few coats of thin and few coats of med. The mango and ?Qld Maple come from Mapleman and the Red Ash is one that John gave me. I think these Sierra kits are the ones I got from Tony @ Perfect Pens.

Tony, I did these before I had the epoxy so they are just glued with the gorilla glue. I really want to give the cigar pens a go, perhaps this weekend if the boss is in a good mood. .

Good start Tim, in the fourth pic the transition between the blank and nib end doesn't quite look square though it may be just the pic. Did you square off the blank before assembly?

I do always sand the ends to try and square them up and remove any CA lip which may be there. I think I still have that pen so I will take a closer look at it and it might just need a little extra touch up with the sand paper !

Great looking pens you have made there Tim.

The Sierra is a classy looking pen and you have done them proud.
