    Wink First Snakeskin

I recently acquired some tanned snakeskin offcuts from the USA ,this is my first attempt at a cast snakeskin , a bit of a learning curve and not too upset about the result ,the join is almost invisible so used the clip to hide what looked like a fallen off scale

Ahh, and down the slippery slope you go Looks good to me, but hard to see the detail in the photo though. I assume the tanned and dyed skin.

John had a heap of beautiful skins to try when I saw him last weekend. So how many more are in the molds curing already

Just for Neil hehe, I tried a closup but doesn't really show much more detail ,the line of the join is showing just to the right of the clip, but in reality is very hard to see ,actually glued this up at Neils ,he wasn't content just to look at the skins ,but wanted to see a finished one lol. Just because he was covered in CA and bits of paper money hehe.

Very nice John. I bought a snake skin blank at the show last year and to tell the truth the join was so obvious it spoiled the pen.. Your skin has a much neater join and the colour is really nice.
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John
