Big W is selling wooden & slotted spoons in beech wood - a couple of $'s and probably a couple of pens!
I also bought a rolling pin and cut and glued it for celic crosses - my advice - start with square!! It caused me alot of grief because it was round to start with.

It a desease isn't it....... evry little piece of wood is a potential pen.
Don't forget the garden prunings.
Camelia is certainly worth keeping.

Ebony pens from Kenya
From the same place today 2 of ebony turned and hand carved pens, one carved as an elephant one as a giraffe at the top.Because they are long the pics dont fit but I will use Slimline kit to change them then photograph them, these from a Kenyan national,he has necklaces with animal horn etc, very costly,as wellas ebony large beads, string of [email protected] each necklace.
The pens were 5.00 each unbelievable value.
I am excited at all the possibilities. Peter Just had a thought I will crop and try pics again.
