Default Stainlees Steel , twist pen for a vet (90% no kit)

was asked to make a pen for a vet ( Animal Ark ) that had to be smooth so it could be sterilized ,
317 stanless was drilled out and Tapped to accept the twist action mecanizem (no tubes ),
i only used the ink , spring and the twist mecanizim , 90% no kit
still needs a final polish on the wax wheel ( just before i hand it over )
how come a 10mm peg dont fit in a 10mm hole

Clever. Sure is shiny. Where's the twist? Under the glare?

Oh I see it now - didn't look close enough. Indicates a nice fit though

Last year we had our two dogs sterilised, looking at your pen I failed to see the necessary apendages to remove.
Now your pen first we have Skiprat the master of the used SS Bolt pens then the Reo steel Pen and now the Stainless pen to be sterilised by the vet, WOW the sky is the limit, I feel I added to the spirit of the occasions with my three brass dart body Slimline and multi faceted woodpens as well. Bring on the innovations. The vet will be pleased and the pen will get over it as time heals all things.

    Regards Peter.

That 316 is a bit hard on drills hehe, Only problem I can think of is the ink will have to be removed before sterilising , and the heat may melt the prepacked grease in the activater ,may be a problem,If you did another maybe use one of the screw out activaters like in the sierras.I think that you rose to the challenge exceptionally well!
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!
