Started Cutting Some Pen Blanks - Continued ............
From a piece of Whale bone.
Cut blanks for a Prefect Fit which I'm waiting on fittings for and 2 for Sierra's.
Over-turned a Sierra blank 0.001", filled the small voids with Med CA, built up enough Med CA to turn down to match the fittings, sanded to 400x, buffed with super fine steel wool and polished with Huts Ultra Gloss.
Dressed up the Whale Bone in a Black Titanium/Titanium Gold Elegant Beauty.

Les,
Always the leader first thought was of poor us not in resource rich living conditions, second thought as I watched the progress was porous the bone you used how soppy was it finishing. Then my conclusion was fill fill but keep the softer open look and lo and behold you did both to perfection.
Most of us would avoid this bone cause it is scary open. The final result leaps out, the material explanation satisfies no secrets here yielding once more a beaut pen from not the Road Runner but The Fore Runner Innovator Educator.
Been a long time Les I ran out of descriptive words, phrases but be reassured I follow your pens keenly am both led to say you we appreciate your presentations to us in keeping with the convoluted way I say things according to my family let me now conclude with.
Keep going mate excellent progress.
Kind regards Peter.Nil Desperandum
