    Default Another Statesman (second)

Just finished (finally) the matching fountain pen for the rollerball I made last week.

Minor drama with the cap due to a bit too many wheaties during polishing. (many thanks again to Brett for steering me back on course after my big girlie panic attack ).

Finished with rustins, buffed with the rustin's polishing goop followed by Meguiars plastix polish (really puts on one hell of a shine ).

Very shiny - pen body nicely reflected in the cap:

    cheers

There are several things you need to do DM.
    • Send that to me for market testing
    • Stop boasting
    • make some more.
    A really beautiful pen BTW.

    Thumbs up

Wow Dave looking good mate you have done a fantastic job there. I am glad to see you worked out the Rustins you have also done an exceptional job on the finish, that is the sort of finish a classy pen like that should have.

    Well Done

Nice kit, nice timber, nice finish.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.
