Default Statesman kit in (sigh) buckeye burl

Yes, I know. Enough with the buckeye burl. But the stuff is addicting. I find myself having to turn it just to see what's inside! Maybe there is a twelve step program for people like me.

    Again nice pen.

Pen turning can be addictive. Why give it up, just like all the other vices it will kill you just as quick. You will probably use more money being addicted to pens but at least you have something to show for it. Not to mention all the surprise Christmas present you would give away to family and friends.

    Cisco,
Where do you get your burl? I see you are in VA. Is it local?

    Alan

BTW - - There is no known cure for your addiction. You might get bored with a style of pen or certain wood/material, but as soon as your eyes see something new, you'll want to try it. For that matter, even a new technique can start the itch. Worse yet is that those around you (especially those that receive a pen) encourage your addiction. It's like a vampire curse - - once you've been bitten, there's nothing you can do to break the curse. Sorry. At least there are support groups like this forum to help manage your addiction.

Another beautiful pen Al , Its always nice to see what is inside the blanks that you know are mystery blanks. The beauty with buckeye is they are all different I have a cream one waiting for my attention.

As for the addiction I am afraid there is no cure just lots of money in an attempt to cure it.

    There is:

Step 1: Forward all burl stocks to Bigfish.

Steps 2-12: Refer to Step 1.
