Steampunked Cigar
found a bit of copper foil tape kicking around the corner of the shed that belongs to SWMBO (it is only a small corner for her garden stuff), i am bound to get in trouble when she work out what i used to make this pen
any way a bit of cutting and layering and then a few pressed holes,a couple strokes with a paint brush, a bit of resin and this is what you get
all comments welcome

That is really very nice. Clever idea.
Here is hoping that the snails do not get to her veggies and the missus finds out what it is made from.

Looks pretty good to me do you have to crinkle the copper to get that effect or is that the way it comes , good thinking either way Cheers ~ John

thanks for the feedback guys, i am waiting on some aluminum foil as well then i can do 2 tones which should be good as well, could also put some clock bits on top, endless possibilities really
it crinkles just attaching it to the tubes but i think you maybe seeing the black paint that i brushed on, i let it dry for about 20 secs and then dab it off with a cloth until it looks a bit weathered
all the best
