Stenocarcpus BEEF WOOD
Beef Wood cut this way is exciting with the grain near the outside of the tree. A rareish timber grows out back where the Crows fly backwards.
Regards Peter.

A nice piece of Beef Wood Peter, a beautifully crafted pen out of equally misunderstood and underused timber. Very nice indeed.

Beautiful pen Peter.!! Nicely shaped.
I thought Beefwood was Grevillia Striata.
Stenocarpus, if my memory serves me correctly, is the Firewheel tree and related species.
