Default Two Streamlines on first cast blanks

Carrying on from my post in the casting section I have now made 4 blanks 2 black and yellow and 2 red and white Here are the first two that I have made this week. Turned today the first did not turn out as I expected but the second was nearly what I planned. Someone suggested calling the second one Raspberry Ripple.

These I have put onto two streamline kits the red and white has a gold kit and the black and yellow has a chrome kit

I think they look great. I would be happy with those if I had cast and turned them.

They have come up well Derek. Even if they are not what you desired, to anyone else they will look great. I like the way they transition from one predominant colour to the other.

    Beautiful pens mate

It always amazes me how different the outside and inside of the blanks can be. Some with just blobs of colour on the outside can be a maze of colour inside, and unfortunately the opposite can apply.

I still need to get use to the time leaving the resin before pouring but that will come with practice luckily I have had a head start with all the information out there on the internet like watching U tube and sifting through what is useless and what is useful, Thank you for your ones as I found them useful.
