    Default Success At Last

    Hey All

I meet another pen turner on Facebook and he see some of my shedded snake skin pens and we got a talking and he asked if I sold my shedded snake blanks which I had never really thought of. I ended up making and selling 6 blanks to Evan and when he got them he turned a couple up and showed the off to his mate in Qld and I am now making another 24 shedded snake skin blanks to send over to Evan and his mates so good things do come around ever now and then. The first 2 pic are the 24 I am working on now and the last pic is the first 6 Evan brought of me thanks for looking )

Mate, I hope you don't have a Death Adder in your private collection.

I've got about a foot and a half of shedded snake skin from a small python that lives in my back yard. I will post it to you if you can do something with it.

PM me with your postal address Ian and I will send it to you.

It will be a long time before I ever get around to doing snake skins as I am still trying to learn other basic stuff.

    Have a great Christmas

Good job there Ian looks like you have found yourself a little bit of a side line ? Be careful that it doesn't explode on you and then you will have no time for making pens just casting

    Well done

    Merry Christmas

Hi I would be keen on buying a couple. I live in Sydney if thy helps for postage costs. I'd probably get 3 if you have some.

Are they hard to turn? I would imagine they would turn just like acrylic blanks, yes?
