Sunday Arvo shed time
Hooray, I finally got an afternoon of shed time.
Below, 3 Barrons, a Cocobolo, Silky Oak, & a Tiger Myrtle, all wood pens M-Mesh + 20 coates of CA the Brasso'd & Maguires Speed Glaze. Also a couple of copper flavoured Siera's dressed in Gray Runner snake skin. Can't beat a relaxing Sunday afternoon in the shed, listening to, and trying to sing along to Dean Martin & Michael Bubble' ha ha.

Great display of pens. Workmanship is terrific and the finish is tops.
Reality is no background music.

Pariss,
Lots of pens, kept looking for the Tiger Myrtle I know has infinite flecks in it but nonetheless yours has swirls equally neat.
All the pens came up well you have given us a treat in photos that show and tell all. The after treat tops off a great gloss.I enjoyed them all.
Kind regards Peter.Nil Desperandum

great pens
Great looking bunch of pens Pariss. I am not a pen maker but always enjoy looking at all the efforts of different guy's. I would like to ask you as a pen maker, do you make them to sell or is it purely for fun and given away as gifts.
I hope that's not a rude question, it's not meant to be, I was just wondering thats all.
Cheers

Hey Frank, no, I just make them as a hobby, along with fancy timber box's and clocks etc etc. I seem to give more away than I can collect tho. I've told the missus, not to mention to her friends that I make pens, as when they come over for a cuppa, they always end up walking out with a pen each
