I have some of this and some of this. You can buy a larger refill bottle of the GPW activator after you buy the smaller atomiser.
I find that the NCF is a better activator as you can apply it very soon after putting CA on. If you apply the GPW activator too soon it tends to crinkle the surface which you don't want if you are putting a finish on a pen. As I only use the NCF for pens and apply it very sparingly, the can lasts me a long time, but I do alternate between the two brands.Dallas

Huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My reply was to penpal (Peter) who indicated that the activator I mentioned in the first post was his prefered activator "Love the same activator" so I was asking him if he knew were to get it from.

Some time back I lucked into 5 cans of it on a one off deal. Not able to give details. It is imported into Australia in Melbourne, the firms name ?
Last week I bought from GPW in Qld the American Gold CA,almost double the price of others but no harmful fumes, worth a try. Mind you I mostly only use one or two coats of CA so my need for spray Activator has diminished.
The CA that came in the packs with Mitre Fix was not good for pens IMHO but excellent for joining timber the purpose of its sales. I found the fixer from Germany sold in Model Shops was not compatable with my CA at all going white inevitably.
Google can be your best friend.
