Another one of those 'Great Suppliers' threads
This one's for Timberbits.
I had an order turn up and I'm pretty sure the courier drove over the box a few times before it got to my doorstep. All but one of the kits was damaged in some form. A phone call and a couple of emails and the next day the whole order had been resent
The issue was with the courier, certainly not with the supplier and to have handled the order in the manner it was shows that there are still companies out there that understand customer service.
Just wanted to post a public 'thank you' to Vera for the help on this one... gotta go put some pens together and get them in the mail now
CorbsIt's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Timberbits are right at the top of my list for customer service.

Doesn't matter whether it is an email or an order, both are addressed in an efficient and courteous manner.
The service cannot be faulted.

I would also like to point out that of the businesses I have dealings with in the woodwork world I've had nothing but positive experiences with... that said, there are some who I avoid if at all possible but there are other threads discussing that.
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Great stuff Corbs, ive have been really impressed with their service also. I had a small set allen key screw strip in my new pen mill cutter head so i emailed them just asking if they sell the screws by themselves and i cant remember her name (possibly vera) but she was so so polite and sent me out a whole brand new set that same week.
Had really positive experiences with Timberbits and 043turning

+1 for praise for timberbits,
i tried to place an order online late one night a few weeks back, they had an issue on their end with the banking side of things and I thought it was my fault, I had a call about 9:00am the next morning by Vera checking to see if I still wanted to place the order, which I did and it was delivered to my door around 11:00 am the next day, Sydney to the Goldy in just over 24 hours, could ask for more!

Great Service Ultra Fast Delivery
How about Sydney to Darwin less than 24 hours?
I placed an order after lunch on Thursday, having a coffee break at 10 on Friday, when the delivery arrived.
cheers Barry
