    Default anybody use supreme wood?

    hi everyone,

I've been reading the forums here for some time but have never posted before. I'm asking if anyone has ever ordered pen blanks from supreme wood. I found their site by chance doing a google search and they have some nice looking pen blanks. My question is, what are the blanks like quality wise? How seasoned etc.

I'm always a bit weary buying timber online and usually get my stuff from lazarides in banyo but he doesn't have things like lignum vitae often, which supreme does.

Please note this thread isn't meant to question the quality of online sellers of timber, but just looking for reassurances from anyone who might have used this one before. I saw another thread earlier with a similar question about another supplier which prompted me to ask.

Thanks guys, and let me say i'm very impressed with the knowledge and tips i get from this forum. It has helped me develop as a pen turner.

    Cheers.

    Eisbaer.

I have been buying exotic timbers from Ray for about 18 years and have never had a problem with the material he has supplied me. I have found that if you email him and request any number of different timbers he will reply to you with the cost and postage. I have found using a bank deposit into his account and sending him an email atachment of the receipt my request have been delivered very promptly.
