Great need for swappers
G'day mates.
I strongly encourage everyone who has not yet signed up for the swap to do so.It is going to be quite interesting to say the least. At this time there are 73 swappers in four countries. (Five more who are members of different forums who have not yet registered here.
) We need more countries involved and more members. We are trying to break the record of 144 members in 7 countries.
So please tell everyone you know, invite them to come over and sign up for the swap!

Pen Swap
I will swap a pen only to up to five overseas people. Including pen blanks to this number as well would tip my budget too far to the left. I have this feeling that Schaf has as well but decided pretty quick to bounce back with some beaut experinces so please Schaf give it another go for me trust me you will never nregret it. If you are reticent still await your swap until you receive theirs. I know you have such a lot to share and I respect that. Try me and prove me.
High regards Peter.

Texx, you don't have to make a fancy box to put it in, if you really want a great box, Timberbits has quality ones for $15, or get a regular box from any supplier you wish.
Terry, I really feel for you mate, sorry you got short changed. As Peter said, "give it another go".
I think we need to remember--When we enter this swap, we enter for the "spirit" of it, For the new friendships we can make, as such, we do not deliberately go out to give one cent so that we can get one dollar, but if one cent is all you have, then that is very acceptable, in fact I prefer one cent given in genuine friendship than a dollar with deception in the heart! better, best.

My life is rather full at the moment, so I'm reluctant to sign up as I may not get around to doing a pen that's worthy of swapping for quite some time. What's the final close-off date, so I know how long I have to procrastinate?

I have my name in the hat already... but I would really like to know if any of the people who didn't complete their end of the swap are still active members on the forum? Personally I am a big fan of "Name and shame"... I do it at work all the time
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
