    Default Tassie Blackwood

I would like to show you first my ultra simple Photography Setup described some time back.

The Studio is 20mm Conduit and fittings pushed together. The top light is a Bunnings lamp fitted with a 48watt nelson lamp.

On the LHS is an old Studio reflector aluminium with a 48watt lamp.

RHS Lamp is a converted Quartz flood with a 48 watt lamp.

The flurescent lamps are the largest fluros I could find at the time and are fairly well colour corrected towards daylight from Bunnings.

The base is 50mm foam sheet.

The pen has been fashioned in my pen mill my design in partly quilted Tassie Blackwood, hand finished, simple design to display the figure.

    Regards Peter.

    Hi Peter

Nice looking pen and great figure on the timber.

Is that the black chrome plating on the pen? I like the look of the plating as well.

    Thumbs up

Love the timber Peter and the pen looks great!

To me the photos have jagged edges when I enlarge the thumbnails. Does anyone know what causes this?

    Hey Peter,

Good cheap setup. Mine cost a lot more but is really no more effective. The big advantage with mine is, it collapses to almost nothing, and is easy to move around. I have nowhere in the house to put a permanent setup.

Jaggies are normally caused by either saving in a low quality jpeg, too much post-processing sharpening, or blowing up low resolution images.
