    Default Texas Ebony

This is one of a couple of Cabaras from Brett and a piece of Texas Ebony from a good friend in Texas. Finishing and process is the same as the Purple heart American. The white flecks are not CA by the way it was in a state of decay but just a little bit. see what you think anyway.

I am glad everyone is different the white flecks are apart of the rot and decay that is going on in the piece of timber. it goes to show that what creates character for one does not for others. It's an amazing piece of wood i will try and resize the photo of what is left of the blank so everyone can see. Thanks for the opinions.

Darren, because we are so knowledgable, we immediately associate white flecks with incorrect CA application, but, the customers will love it with its unique white wood! Amos

Amos you are right we have quite a lot of knowledgable people here and that is to the benefit of us all. Managed to down size the photo of the Texas Ebony so you can see what it looked like before it started, as I said there was a degree of decay to the piece.

Kruger I do not have much info on Texas Ebony

This is a link from google about Texas Ebony hope this gives more info for you. The other piece I have is black with yellow sap wood, I will take a photo of it tomorrow if I remember to show the difference between the two pieces I received.
