Another thank you that is well deserved
Hello everyone I have just returned from a trip away to Brisbane and the Gold Coast and just want to thank a few people for giving me there time and knowlage whenever I asked.
First off I want to thank Neil (Dai Sensei) because months ago when I had been talking about heading north he said be sure to call in and have a chat and I am so glad I did. I met with Neil on 2 occasions and we just chatted and chatted where he answered any questions I had on any form of pen making from casting to stableizing to anything at all. I have now come back with plenty of ideas and look forward to getting stuck into many things.
On another occasion I met up at Nerang Services Club with Neil and Trevor (tdrumnut) his wife and also John (Gawdelpus) and his wife to celebrate johns birthday and also swap stories and more tips it was a great night.It just goes to show what a good forum we have here and it is great to catch up with members when I can.
Unfortunately I was unable to catch up with Tony (Aus maddog) because he was in western Australia at the time and I was also unable to catch up with Greg (plantagenon) but I do plan to catch up with them both on my next trip to Brissie in the new Year.
So thanks to everyone it was greatly appreciated

Ian, it was great to meet you also, it is always nice to meet fellow forumites face to face and catch up on whats happening in other parts of the country. Hopefully we can catch up again when you are here in the new year.

Sounds like you had a great time, and I am very sorry we were not able to catch up!! unfortunately my work takes me all over the place and I never know where I am from one day to the next !! currently in NZ. I was so looking forward to catching up with you and look forward to doing so in the New Year.

Hope to catch up with you soon Ian. I'm sorry I couldn't get to the dinner but the grand kids are just to young to keep them up late or to impose a temper tantrum on others.
