    Default Three from today

The boys sport was cancelled due to the wet weather so I got a bit of shed time in today This is what I came up with.

    Chrome Cigar - Bocote
Gold & Trivalent Chrome Sierra - Ossage Orange
Chrome Lucida - Flame Box Elder

    All are finished with CA.

    Corbs,

All very nicely done, some nice depth showing in the Bocote and the Ossage, hard to pick a favourite

    Cheers
    Tony.

well done Corbs, great finish on all of them

Ossage Orange is the one for me, my fellow longbow archers would fall over each other trying to get that one

i think i have seen a couple of those blanks in a bit different shape before

MIK, I think the Ossage Orange is the pick of the litter too. It's hard to take a photo which really shows off the wood but it glows in the sunlight. I had your box of goodies sitting on the bench where I was working, I can't believe the colour in the Box Elder

hey Corbs i am glad that you found some bits in the box that you liked

there is one thing that Flame Box Elder and Osage Orange have in common.... they both turn Brown with age, they both still look stunning though even after they start to change colors, it takes a while if not left in the direct sun light

Great job on getting some shed time. I am not sure how you made it rain on queue I have tried in the past but in the end you either have it or not.
