    Lightbulb Same thunderstorm as Scott's

Well, I guess when it rains in Arkansas, it's time to make pens.

1st up is a long clicker from Timberbits. This is my favorite click kit by far. I have one I've used for over 2 years without any trouble. I used a Comstock Lode blank. I made this blank for guys because why should girls get all the resin pens.

Next is a Jr Victor closed end wrapped in Dessert Ironwood. I love this timber. it has so much character. I didn't fill the cracks or inclusions. I debated about it for awhile, but decided to go with a more rustic look. The finish is a method developed by mikespenturningz on the IAP forum using walnut oil & a finish called Pens Plus.

Finally is a pair of Sierras. I just cut the blank in half for these two. One was reverse painted black, and the other was reverse painted red. I also modified the length of the click version so the pens would be the same size. I never understood why the click pen is longer.

Nice looking pens. all of them.

But being a timber person, the DI does it for me especially.
