"Tiger" Mango
I'm calling this one "Tiger" Mango for obvious reasons.
The best part is I still have many pieces left that look just as good.
This pen is going to my niece's teacher who is leaving on Wednesday. I think she will like it.

I am quite partial to Mango. I picked up some blanks a few years ago not knowing what they would turn out like. I must say, I was very impressed with the grain pattern. I can understand you being impressed with yours. Well done.

My blanks are from Mapleman's Mango stump!
Skew me! Yeah not very skilled with the skew yet. Still working on my sharpening techniques, to get it sharp enough to use properly. Currently my weapon of choice is a 1"ish half gouge (?) thing for most of my turning then a scrapper and a lot of sandpaper!
Slowly very slowly trying to upgrade my $100 6pce turning tool set to something of better quality.
