Default Tiger Oak and Blue Lagoon Acetate

Took quite some time to do both as i was new to this pen kit and had to get the end cap to fit flush with the barrel.

Painted barrels with white paint from a can (acrylic base) but it literally stripped off and had to start over and ended up with household wall paint, what kind of white paint do you guys use for your barrels?

Tiger Oak sanded and finished with 10? (lost count) of CA and Acetate with 8 coats of CA to bring it level with end cap - turned it too far down

    Both polished to 12000 grit.

    But both turned out fine.

Couple of nice pens there Freddie

I use a metal paint from a hobby shop to paint my tubes (have a black and white depending on what blank I'm using). The white usually takes about 3 coats to fully cover the tube and I do it on the lathe whilst spinning which helps stop runs and seems to dry faster.

I like the close up photography too
