Tim the Master Apprentice Progressing
Well here are his latest. The white one was last weeks effort. The blank is some Alternative Ivory in a Slimline Kit in black enamel.
I personally hate turning this as you get catch's with it and I have ruined several blanks with it but does look great when finished especially with the right kit. I have to sharpen the tools several times when turning it.
The second pen is this weeks effort. Another Slimline kit. The blank is a Mackay Cedar. This is the courtesy of Troy (aka mkypenturner) who donated a great selection of blanks. It is finished with EEE and Shellawax.
Still waiting on some better kits to better show off the great blanks from Troy.
