    For the Oz folks, Brown Mallee Burl,



    sent to me 3 maybe 4 yards ago in a pen swap, either from Peter or LovJonhDee, it ended up in my from oversea blank box with only brown mallee written on it.
    Four coats of Duracryl Lacquer dipped, no polish or sanding.

    Dam nice looking pen Ed looks like you have the bug for doing these modifications. I think they are a little out of my league just yet I have a bit of work to go yet.

    Definately worth the effort you put into these things, one of the problems with some of the sierras is not enough of the blank is used to show off nice stuff, also some of the black type sierras are less than satisfactory in the enamel nib and clip sections ,seems to chip easily, at least yours are more aesthetic and most likely more durable as well well done indeed cheers ~ John
