    Default Huon Fire Wood ?????

    Hey There,

A mate of mine gave me a piece of wood he picked up in Tassie, Years ago, thought I could use it, it was a piece of Huon Pine, about 200mm dia, sort of roundish. I said that I would make him a pen from it. He said that I should use a "Bit of the Crappy End, don't go to any trouble, It would have gone in the Fire anyway."

So I used a bit off the crappy end and made this for him, I hope he appreciates it. (It ain't Fire Wood)

    Default Huon Pine

I have a full pallet of plain Huon Pine Offcuts I have had for many years, had plans to make toys etc but advancing years tell me I wont.

    Hey Peter,

You're lucky I still don't live in Cooma, I would be at your place within the hour.

To all you other guys, Thanks for the encouragement.
