I don't mean to be negative, maybe it's just me, but is there a lip between the blank and the mechanism part of the pen?

    Great looking pen otherwise

    Timbo,

Nice pen beaut timber, when you assembled it it kicked to one side easy fix twist and it fits great and yes Ashley experience will come you will find bands have slack and kick, tubes and mechanisms differ. In this case it is plain to see it is correctly turned, welcome to the pen world.

    Lovely grain mate.

    Kind regards Peter.

As I said, I wasn't meaning to be negative. Sorry if it came across that way.
