    Well done folks,

A pleasure to see this happening among forumates firstly, and secondly to prove that there are some nice hearted people out there. I just had the same situation where a need to get some parts for my bandsaw from a supplier in UK that just doesn't send anything to Australia. Like yourself SDS, I called for help/assistance from some of out international/overseas/UK members, and surely, in record time, the parts were on my way. How do you say thank you to someone like that?. How lucky some of us are...!

Thanks ciscokid, you deserve a greeny!

    Cheers

1st pick Buffalo horn , good thickness for pen blanks , or the tip

2 , this is a fine grained coolibar burl , (light in colour ) some of the Jarrah in the back ground

    3 a small murtle burl , proberly 2kg , nice orange / red colour

4 open resin burl , not to good for pens , the deep wide resin pockets tend to fall apart on smaller stuff ( nice 1foot bowl missing from this peace )

so all up 3kg , your coice of pen blanks , slabs , or 1 big ( well 3kg ) blank

The post just came today (it's a little past 4:00 on a lovely Monday afternoon) and look what was in it. That's a pretty big coin! I will get it out in the post tomorrow on my lunch break. Should take about seven days to reach you.
