Tree lucerne Executive Sierra
I had never even heard of "tree lucerne" before receiving this short pen blank as a gift, but I'm glad I came across it.
It turned out with great contrast in the blank. I had to photograph it twice to show off both sides.
Simon.

I am finding more often that I try to have a variation of colour on items that I turn on the lathe.
Not very easy to do on smaller pieces like a pen. As sometimes your final cut is the one that removes the colour. Very well done.
