Thread: Trying my new light box out

Good to see some teamwork happening, well done Matt and Sally.
LEDs make good lighting for this type of thing. I use those LED downlights that fit into a 95mm ? Hole in the ceiling. My lightbox has 5 of them, well diffused, cuts right down on the shadows, the only downside, is the diffused light doesn’t show the shine on my pens. I am sure there would be a way to show the shine, maybe a single undiffused light carefully positioned beside the camera might do the trick, but I’m always too busy to experiment.Brad.

I well remember Grumpy John's new man cave and his desire to build a cyclorama. You can see the link at My new man cave WIP. Your photographic accessory was not quite what I was anticipating, but no matter. It was very effective and so well priced and I would never have guessed the humble origins.
I have a preference for the burl pen, but it seems I am out of step wth everybody else. All of them are very nicely done.

A bit off topic but, why does the light have to be installed by a licensed electrician? Might have something to do with the 'garantie'?
