By comparison, Woodpeckers are selling them for $30. Freight would be next to nothing I should think. I still don't get the pricing differences between here and everywhere else.
Especially in the case of tools that are made to order = no stockholding costs or risks, and no currency variation difficulties.

I just eye it in when drilling. My biggest problem is that my blanks are rarely perfectly square, essential for this to work. Mind you, even with a mark, it doesn't mean your drill will hit the mark.

I don't think I've ever marked anything under 40-50mm with gauges/rulers, just eyeball it

I am inclined to agree with the others. Its a lot of money for something a ruler and biro can do. Like Dai Sensei a lot of my blanks are not square but you get used to guessing it.
