    A great idea but for $50 I would want it to at least drill the hole as well for me lol

    ...plus glue in the brass tube, trim the end and turn the pen.

    I agree with the others don't you think that is a bit steep in price ?

    Idea = Price =

    How many are going to make their own version of this?

    How many are going to use a ruler and mark corner to corner?

    By comparison, Woodpeckers are selling them for $30. Freight would be next to nothing I should think. I still don't get the pricing differences between here and everywhere else.

    Especially in the case of tools that are made to order = no stockholding costs or risks, and no currency variation difficulties.

    I just eye it in when drilling. My biggest problem is that my blanks are rarely perfectly square, essential for this to work. Mind you, even with a mark, it doesn't mean your drill will hit the mark.

    I don't think I've ever marked anything under 40-50mm with gauges/rulers, just eyeball it

    I am inclined to agree with the others. Its a lot of money for something a ruler and biro can do. Like Dai Sensei a lot of my blanks are not square but you get used to guessing it.
