Two Flouro SS EBs
John (Gawdhelpus) and Peter (Star) came around the other day and we had a play with some SS casts and some new pink and red flouro tints I got off the internet. John said his ones didn't work out due to casting errors
, so i thought I would turn mine up. Worked a treat, shame the EB doesn't come in the satin copper, these tints would really suit those colours for the female customers.

Neil, I think they came out real cool. This opens a whole new avenue with the tinting. I Have been using some stainless steel sleeving I got on line but I decided I would try the plumbing hose and that seems abit shineier because of the polishing or whatever they do with it so I bought some of that. The guy probably thought i was doing a huge plumbing job or something. Sending you a PM.

My local tint supplier didn't survive the economic crash, so I have been trying others interstate. These latest ones comes from here. Still trying to find someone that sells the glow in the dark stuff

Glow in the Dark Powder
don't know about international shipping, but these powders work really well.
Hard to cut, though. Tougher than TruStone to turn

How much dye do you have to add to get a nice consistant color??? Thanks.

Thanks for the link
They only charged ~US$10 for delivery for the 4oz, so I have put in an oder to try some
The bottle has a drip nozzle, so I just keep adding drips and mixing until I get the consistent colour I want. It doesn't take much, for 200mls ~15
drops. You need to consider how thin the resin layer ends up being, ie you need to aim darker than you want for the thick initial layer.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new
