In Jan 2010 my brother in law paided me for a fountain pen
I just got it made and when I see him in a months time I will finally give it to him

I'm guessing that bit of cocobolo I sent has arrived then
.
Very nice pen, love the wavey grain in the cap. He should be pretty pleased with that one.

Yes it arrived, The cap I turned from the thicker piece from you, That beautiful wave grain is great .The bottom piece that I got from you did not match the grain of the top but I had some other 5/8' pieces and after turning 3 bottoms I got one that did job

I think the kits is a JR Statesman rather than a JR Majestic?

Yes David you are right its a JR Statesman.
I put error down to the fact that once I order a kit I never seem to refer to it by the name of the kit but as a fountain pen with gold trimming and what the main plating is and the timber I do it in
