    Yes, "off-site", but not Australia.

    Together with the other overseas parts you mentioned above, Amos' statement doesn't seem that far off the mark?

    I think it would be near on impossible to manufacture something of this nature completely in Australia.
    In the old days of plain bearings and simple electrics, then sure, it was done, but things have changed since those days.

    I think the fact that at least the machining work and assembly is done in Australia, is to be applauded.

    I would not be surprised if parts are made in China. Even VW which purports to be German is mass produced in China now to cut costs but still labelled German technology. You have to read the fine print carefully.
