Default Vat 95 American White Oak

A while back Amos posted a matching pair of Vat 95 American White Oak Statesman Fountain Pen / Roller Ball Pen set in a beautiful display case. I sent this timber to Amos along with a couple of other pieces, not much, but in a way to say thank you for his friendship, thoughts and kind deeds that he has done along the way.

He has been there and a couple of other guys too through a rough year and a bit for me. I will be doing the same to them as I have for Amos as money permits. Now i sent this to Amos because I know his talents as a master pen crafter and the enjoyment that I would get in seeing him use my timber and see the result of a true professional.

After commenting on what a magnificent job that Amos did with the Vat 95 American White Oak. I get a private message saying I am glad you like them, I have posted them to you today. It was something I didn't expect and am blown away by Amos' generosity and friendship. So publicly I would like to thank you so very much again my friend. For those who didn't see them, here is a photo for your viewing pleasure.

    Default None of the Above!

None of the above, Darren very cleverly baited the wood with extra rum, it so intoxicated me while turning that I made the wrong decision and sent them off to him!!!!??? it was good to rid of them so I could breathe easy again!?
Your welcome Darren, I have received so much wood that I may as well start swapping them!!!!, not really, have some wonderful historical pieces that need attention with turning to pens, let's hope them "turn" out ok. Amos
