    Default My version of a hairy Banksia and resin Eligant Beauty

    Hi guys just wanted to show my latest pen for your veawing and jugdment constructive critasissem welcome

    nicely done. I don't think the blue resin and brown of the banksia are to my taste, but that doesn't take away the beautiful craftsmanship of the final product!!

    Well done, i am not a big fan of lots of white resin, but thats just me and experimenting is a good thing

    did you have any problems with bubbles trapped it the hairy bits???

    No trouble with bubbles used a pressure pot seemed to workout nice but if your not a fan of white I wont post the one I did today you will really hate the colour HaHa

    Just to be the odd man out I think the colours are fine and go together well.

    I suspect the ladies would be more attracted to this then the the blokes.

    Steve, what camera do you use?, A grey background helps with white balance, close ups allow more detail. Amos

    Thanks for the tip Amos. I use to use a regular camera but I found that a smart phone takes better pics. Yeh photography is not my strong point

    Steve, experiment with the smart phone, holding it the other way round may give upright pictures, also the camera section usually has a close up function. Amos

    Steve, instead of standing over your pen to photograph, get on the same level as it, to get a good side view; and as close as your camera allows, you don't need all the background, just enough to fit the pen in. Amos
