The video looks great Phil. Your pens are beautiful to say the least. They display real craftsmanship.
You should make your DVD longer and play it at your shows (power source available, of course). That would cetainly help to sell the pens. (I have just given myself an idea )

As said above well done a novel approach.
Critique, need clearer photos and there was no recognition of who the music is.
This would be good at the front of your stand to draw people in and ask more questions about your pens.Jim Carroll

Preciate the comments and critiques. I plan on making a longer one for using during shows. Clearer pictures. I will get more action photos to go at the beginning and add pics of the few bowls and lidded boxes I have turned in it somewhere. Ackwoledge the music also, got it.
Since this was my first attempt at creating a video like this, we will call it a rough draft. Keep the comments coming as I gather and redo this stuff until I get it looking the best I can.

Phil, very impressive first try, loved seeing you at work, some very skilfully made pens, loved the honesty and down to earth approach, Amos

Very nice to see your video. May I say some sound would be nice, and prob a bit of movie type action of you turning instead of just a picture slide show.
Must say tho the pens are really very nice.
Well done.

A video of shavings spinning through the air from the blank would work well. I'm not too keen on detailed videos of turning as they tend to become boring to anyone not interested. I thought the photos did the trick - just need more of them and maybe an imbedded video or two if it can be done.
Hey Phil - Did you make those display boxes or buy them?

I actually ordered the acrylic ones from this seller on ebay. Price was most reasonable I have found and they would let you order a 2nd for the same price. Plusthey gave shelf placement options. I chose 7x7x6 shelves and they are perfect.

Thanks Phil. That's great. I will look at them properly a bit later when I have more time. Now its time for my household duties. The whip is being cracked by the better half.
