Walnut Siera first Celtic knot attempt
I had to show this pen,not because its brilliantly made because its not but the timber is really beautiful. The picture doesn't do justice to it. Its Walnut and the knot is New Guinea Rosewood. Sorry about the quality of the pictures but I am no photographer.
This was my first attempt at a Celtic Knot and I know it isn't by any means perfect but I was quite pleased for my first attempt.Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

You should be quite pleased, it looks good from here too.
Funny thnk about the knots...the more of them you do, the more you begin to strive for the perfect fit and glue up...and the more precise your pen making becomes...things you used to let slide by begin to bug you.

Looks good to me John.
Because you claim it is not perfect you might
tell me "what knot to do" to make a better one.

My first didn't come close to that, nice work on the knot but I think you could have taken a bit more off the blank.
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
