Default Wanted - Waratah/Telopea blank (or other NSW wood)

Evening all, I've been tasked with making a few pens.

4 x Qld woods (looked after thanks to Mapleman)
1 x West Aussie wood (have plenty of Sheoak & Jarrah)
1 x NSW wood. I've got a few ideas but am thinking of Waratah/Telopea as the states flora symbol.

Has anyone got a blank or two of it they'd be willing to share? I'm happy to fix whoever up with some cash or do a swap with some of my blanks. I'm also open to suggestions for other woods which would satisfy the requirement of being NSW woods.

The best Camphor Laurel is from NSW, you should have some of that.

Also, maybe Flooded Gum, the tallest tree in NSW

Camphor is out as it's not a native species. Flooded Gum & Sydney Blue Gum are both options and I have some SBG in the shed somewhere which would satisfy the requirements.

Finding a timber which is native to just one state of Australia isn't really that easy so I thought wood from the states floral emblem would satisfy the brief nicely.

Yes but most of them are just shrubs . Finding someone with one large enough, plus milled and dry is a tall ask.

DS, I only need it for a pen so a section of branch about 1" in diameter would be enough. Might make a visit to the Botanic Gardens tomorrow with the secateurs

Most of the states don't have plants which could be used at all but the Waratah/Telopea would be fine for a pen or two.
