Wedding gift
My niece is getting married in February and wanted to give her intended husband a gift of a pen. She asked if I could make her one but couldn't make up her mind on the kit she wanted, but it had to have dark wood.
She settled on 2 kits, so I said I would make up both and she could then choose.
The first is a Gentleman. I hadn't done one of these before.
The second is a JR Victor. Both are wrapped in Red Mallee Burl and finished with CA.
I will find out on Wednesday which one of them is to her liking.
Thanks for looking.

A fine looking pair Dallas, both are worthy to be chosen.
Your finish looks really good.

Both beauties there you are going to make it hard for her to choose one of those . On average I think from my market experience the JR victor will be the choice hehe. Cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

Hi Dallas
You have 2 very fine looking pens there. Perfect fit and finish.
I prefer the Gentleman's. I love that dark red / maroon colour in the pen. I also find the Gentleman's size much nicer to write with as well.
I am sure your niece will love both, if your family is like mine, she will try to get both of them for nothing, but if that fails, she will try to get both for the price of one.

You've certainly nailed both these pens Dallas !!. Perfect fit & the finish has that 'WOW' factor. I agree with what David said. Bet she ends up with both, ha ha. Great work.

Very nice pens Dallas. They will make a beautiful wedding present. The timber colour is beautiful and mitches the kit very well.

Well the decision has been made. My niece came around this morning to look at the pens . She had a struggle to choose, but in the end went for the Gentleman, as her intended is a largish guy and thought it would fit his hand better.
She was very pleased with the offerings.Dallas

Congratulations. Great workmanship or should I say workpersonship (political correctness). I also do love the Jr Gentleman pen kits. Great Job. Keep it up.

Excellent work. Would certainly be a hard decision to make.
Reality is no background music.
