Wedding pens and custom box
Heyas.
Some friends of mine is getting married in a few week so I decided to make them some wedding pens as a personal gift. I also wanted a nice box to put them in and decided to make one of my own.
The pens are nothing special imo. Standard black and white acrylic barrels in a Majestic setting. I screwed up my first black barrel by hurrying it too much in poor light. The following day I could see plenty of score marks still on the barrel. Took my time with the next ones. Chalk that up to inexperience.
The box was conceived during a long and dull training course on committee management. Amazing what you think of when you're bored out of your skull. The final result differs from the original concept but it still goes nicely with the pens.
If you want details on the construction process, have a closer look at the album for the box. I've put all my documentation (what I took) and detailed descriptions of the stages in there.

Thanks to Amos (woodnink) of this forum for his assistance in the engraving process.--- Cheers. Paul.

Whoa. That is a great set of pens. Well presented and well made. Love the box. I have one complaint tho. I have to make a set for my sons wedding and I was going to do the same with the engraving. Reverse the names. All together great work.
