the big weekend
where to start
thursday night, very pleasant outside so i decided to do saome resin cast, wedding pearl, pink/gold pearlex, bright yellow pearlex, spring green pearlex, plus the dregs
friday night was cut, glue and trim, ready for saturday
saturday the boss decided he wanted some wishing wells in the window for a display, couldn't resist the free advertising so i had to comply, then into the pens

Anelli - dregs, looks rather good, much better in the flesh lots of swirly bits that blend
anelli - Spring Green, Bright Yellow combination
anelli - molten metal - silver/sunset gold
St Charles - pink/gold resin, i just wanted to what this looked like, ladies are happy
anelli - pink/gold resin
St Charles and 2 anellis - wedding pearl, sold the last couple of these for weddings very quickly, fingers crossed

Aeros from CSUSA, which i am guessing are Elegant Beauties under another name
Mango, Soloman Islands Ebony, Molten Silver Resin, Pink Ivory

Workshop Pencil - celtic Knot, coral wood??? and huon pine
Jnr Gent - titanium Gold Fountain Pen, Buckeye Burl
Gentlemans Rollerball - Titanium Gold - Sunset Gold Resin, got the molten look as well

Hey Mik,
Nice work, I really like the Fountain pen, It's nice when you get some time to play in the shed, and end up with something that SWMBO can see at the end. Well done.

Very nice ! looks like you are not missing the cocobolo one little bit good selection and variety ,would have been an interesting weekend, always good to get stuff prepared during the week ,and just do the fun bits on the weekend ! hehe. Cheers ~ John

thanks guys
i am sure everyone does the same in regards to choices of wood and kit combination
Now what would this look good with. sometimes though the choices are just too hard
eye catching is always the key
